Default 2012 Challenger vs 98 Cobra

Couple friends, challenger has pacesetter lingtubes, catless mids and a diablo tune. The cobra I'm not sure, possibly bone stock. Auto challenger manual cobra. Chally spun bad off the line.

I would have chuckled if the Cobra had won.

That chally runs pretty good for a land yacht. It ran a 14 flat in 3,500 da. No record setter but it's fun on the street and very reliable lol

Good race. Ive seen a few Challenger setups in the 700hp range that were fi. They ran pretty damn good.

Yeah, they're not 700hp n/a stock internal ls1's. LOL.

Is the challenger an RT or SRT? I'm guessing SRT, I don't think an RT would walk a cobra that badly, if at all.

No it's just an R/T auto car. No weight reduction all stock minus exhaust and tune.

Looks about right to me. Full exhaust/tune would be low-mid 13s in good air, Cobra would be mid-high 13s.

Most bolt on RTs can run high 12s. They run good for what they are.

Wow, didn't realize that the R/T was that strong. Aren't they like 4K lbs and 375hp?

Reminds me of my old T-bird super coupe. I remember running against a 5.7L charger, he ran a 13.1, so I guess it makes sense for the challenger to do the same.
