it never fails mustang fans to jump to the vette comparo when the HP levels of a mustang rival that of a vette ESPECIALLY that whole time the camaro was in hiatus but then you actually compare the two and all of the sudden the mustang doesnt compete with the vette.(not saying the ford fan boys here say that because even they can be reasonable)

but again mediocre times from the 662hp top of the line mustang. i am also not saying good times to the ZL1 but impressive what it does with its disadvantages when compared to its "market competitor"

Yup I remember that issue in Motor Trend too.

That's ridiculous and you know it. Both of these cars perform extremely well.

Indeed, both cars do exceptionally well considering their weight.

Got Hemi, you sir are awesome. What car are you rolling? Mind you ALL of these cars spoken about will stomp your broke Dodge. There's no reason to even speak about dodge in ANY of these conversations because they still don't have a car worth running!

Then again, Fiat is trying to do away with the a Dodge brand totally (i.e. "Ram" and "Viper"), so I guess, enough said.
Jesus man can you get any more ???

Weak rebuttle.

I called you out on your stupid *** fan boy comparison of vette vs mustang and the best you can do is start spewing off at the mouth about dodge this and dodge that becuase i USED to own a ******* dodge?? Just keep on with the fan boy brand loyal bullshit.

Oh and my "broke dodge" that i havent owned in 2years that isnt broke would STOMP a ZL1 if it would line up with one. NA to boot...

Guess you missed the memo that those turds trap 114mph! LMAO

You say that theres no reason to speak about Dodge in this conversation but you're the ONE AND ONLY dumb *** that brought Dodge up!

PS I drive a pinto but thats completly irrelevant in this discussion. Fact is the GT500 owns a ZL1 on the strip and The Riiiing. Another fact, you cant turn a pony car into a sports car just because Fords pony car fucked up your beloved GM pony car.

That's not exactly as it went down, if we are talking about the same test from MT at LS.

Here is the math if the ZL1 ran it's best lap every lap in the 3 laps (which it didn't).

GT500:
Lap 1 - 1:38:68
Lap 2 - 1:39:03
Lap 3 - 1:39:30
Total= 4:57.01

ZL1:
Lap 1 - 1:39:18
Lap 2 - 1:39:18
Lap 3 - 1:39:18
Total= 4:57.54

haha maybe

just as ridiculous calling out the ZL1 to be this POS and how GM fan boys will be running for the hills after these track times.

Why because you cant answer the questions with out proving me right? its simple really Chevy doesnt use and out side name to make their cars go faster off the production line but Ford does and they do that with their mustangs Dodge just recently separated their so called performance side into their own little division with a website to back it all up. Chevy hasn't the fact of it is that the GT500 does compete with the Vette. Heres the proof.

You sir, are an idiot.

Wow...

Ford can make a 1000hp Mustang. Its still a pony car and NOT in the same class as a Vette.

What "outside company" does Ford use, just for the record? Keep in mind that Chevy uses the same blowers on their cars, and ASC was in charge of making the late 4th gen WS6s.

Hammer take off the blinders man...

Challengers have trapped 114 bone stock. So lets say a heat soaked ZL1 lined up with a fresh 392. You got two cars that weigh the same but one makes OVER 110HP LESS. They cross the finish line both running around a mid 12 @ 114.

So you're impressed with the ZL1? Heat soaked or not.

The ZL1 traps 4mph than the boat 470hp NA challenger on its best day. Wow man thats crazy impressive!

Yes it did, and it had the best 3 lap total time.

Someone at furd should have been fired for giving MT a test car with bitched brakes.

thats right and the mustang uses the stage 3 and the Camaro use the stage 2 BTW..... And Ford uses Shelby and Roush parts as well and as for ASC they may have designed it but none of their performance parts went into it....but still the fact of the matter is you have yet to answer my questions.....
