Default 5 coyotes vs 1 L99 (no-vids)

DFW meet on Thursdays meet up with a pack of coyotes 3 stick cars and 2 auto cars. I know 2 of them had to be stock pulled pretty bad on them easy kills, ran a red DFW50.com one with gears full exhaust and a tune ran a 20 roll pulled it by 2 cars did a 40roll 1.5 cars, he wanted a higher roll (My weakness) did a 60 roll he pulled away my front bumper next to his door and a 70 roll I pulled half a fender on him again stick car vs my auto. Ran the 4th from his roll 40 pulled it twice by 1 car and 3rd run @ 60 pulled away 1/2 car did a 70 roll neck to neck but him slowly pulling on me. 5th one digg run don't know but bad 20roll 2 cars. They had GoPros and gave out my email and hope they will email me the videos so I can upload them on here. My mods are CAI, 1 7/8s with X-pipe, 3600 converter and a VVT tune by (GPI) they were shocked how my car runs for a bolt-on L99 car Hope to upload vids ASAP........

Good kills! I could see a 60 roll for a 3.73 geared 5.0. I'm still in 2nd with my 3.31s

Correct the others wanted 60rolls due to the 3.73s but for me being slightly heavier and shifting @ 5850 I did good for being an auto lol

If i remember right on my L99 when i had the superchips tuner. Mine was shifting around 6200 rpms. First and second gear was really strong in my car for just a hand held tuner.

I was tap shifting it but if you see the dyno sheet it starts to fall around 5600ish

You need to turn it harder. The power looks to me like it was carrying pretty well to 6200. I'm not sure what all can be done with the vvt......but if it were mine I would see if I could make it run to 7000.

I still have the stock cam my car runs slower if I go over 6k. I ran 12.20s shifting at 6200. Dropped it back down to 58/5900 then ran my 11.90 pass. Once I get the cam then yes I plan to hit it around 7k
