Boss 302 vs LOTB vs bolt on LS3 Vette. ***VIDEO***
Had an encounter with a boss 302 from a 30 and 60 rolls.
Boss had big and Littles Drag pack, cat deletes, Boss CAI, Mid pipe, axle back, muffler delete, 373 gears and tune. (Evan Jr)
TA, forged bottom end, 4l80e, n20 cam/converter, Trickflows, Fast 92, stock 323 gears, street tire (Federals)
We did a 30 and 60 roll with one passenger each.
30 roll... TA hooked as well as the boss with drag radials, for a moment we where even and then it got ugly as I started pulling away in a hurry. You can pretty much say the boss got destroyed.
60 roll... we pull even off the hit, then that 4th gear kicks in and gets about half a car ahead, my rpm at that point are high up and he shifts up to 5th... game over! My top end once more pulls nasty and finish far ahead by the time we let off around 145-150. The driver of the boss claimed 60 was his strongest and best roll. It really showed and give him credit for how his ride performed.

Vette, Man tire on 15" wheels, bolt ons, CAI, not sure what other mods, Auto 6spd, and passenger seat removed.
30 roll... stuck with me, but ended pulling 4 to 5 cars by 130.
60 roll... even pull, but walked away soon after.
My ride is running strong, and doing well even on high rolls.

17" man tire, only other bolt on besides the cai is the c6 exhaust. Factory npp exhaust. e85. And that was all. You describe these runs as being a bit closer than I remember. I stayed with you for about 2 seconds and then you disappear on video. 4-5 is about right if I remember right. That's about when you showed some mercy and let off the go pedal. It was fun either way. I can upload the video I have to this thread when I get it done if you want. I know KFC has some video also.

Not trying to make you look bad or anything dude... your car is strong, it's an LS3!! But I didn't know it was e85, the big *** tire confused me for 15, compared to small tire and big wheels in the front. I honestly didn't expect to do well from a 30 with my street tires, or top end vs your vette. As I told you already, I was looking for a comparison, that's all.
