02 Z28 vs 13 Subie/12 5.0/06 TBSS Cliff notes at the bottom.
Mods:
13 Subie: Exhaust
06 TBSS: LS2, Cam, Heads, Intake, Long Tubes, Full Exhaust (maybe stall, Cant remember if he said if he had one)
12 5.0: Bolt ons, Tune, said he did 392 rwhp last week
I was on my home last night from my buddies shop and was headed home. I get a call from another friend saying he just raced a couple cars and there were some guys that wanted to race, so I turned around and went to the meet up spot. On my way there a Subie pulls up next to me about 30mph or so and starts honking, I get in gear just in time and imediately jump out a car and keep going. We catch a light and he wants to go again. Same race he honks and this time I'm ready, same result with maybe a car more for me. I slow down and he gets next to me and we both compliment each other on the cars and leave.
I get to the meet spot and the TBSS wants to go first. We do 2 races a dig and 30 roll. On the dig I blow the tires off and he jumps out a little over a car, once I get traction I stop his pull and come around him. I'm out a car at 100 or so. We line up again at 30 and I pull him up to 100 or so by 2 or so cars.
Next is the 5.0 and he wants a 40 roll. I agree and we go. I hit the rev limiter and he pulls me damn hard
. I ask for a 30 roll and he says its not a good spot for him so we go from a dig. Its even till about 40 and he starts pulling me. Gets out about 2-3 cars by the time we let out. We line up one more time for a 35 roll and basically the same thing as the previous race.
All in all a pretty good night, and the first races I've had this year

Subie gets pulled twice from 30 roll
TBSS race, I blow tires off from a dig and and pull him up top. We run a 30 roll and get him by 2 or more cars.
5.0 race Gets me all three times from 2 rolls and a dig, oh yeah and did I mention I hit the rev limiter

Yeah I agree but some people need every advantage they can get I guess, he obviously would have still got me as hard as he pulled from a 40 roll but it would have made things more interesting
