Haven't seen this posted. Interesting match up, both manual.

Dang, close race. Figured it'd be close with the likely heavier C7 but then again the C7 is likely throwing down a bit more power out of the box.

Is the 07 the LS2 or LS3?

They switched to the LS3 for 08+ models

So if it's a LS2 i'm guessing it's pretty much full bolts ons then. Does that sound right?

A very strong running full bolt on LS2 assuming the ~390hp is at the tires.

Most cam-only LS2 cars I see are high 300's/low 400's for HP.

Damn LS2 intakes and heads.

'05-'07 = LS2

'08+ = LS3

Guy who posted it said, LT's/Ext/CAI/Tune. Technically, missing a ported intake manifold/FAST and Ported TB/swapped TB to be full bolt-on.

Damn 60 must have been way bottom of third for the c6.. Good runs tho.

Cammed LS2's (manuals, not autos) should be more than 420+ whp. Something is wrong with the tune if any less IMO.

I suppose I should have clarified mild cam-only cars, but yes, most that I've seen dyno numbers for have been autos.

I haven't seen any dyno vids of the new vette, but i'm guessing it to be right around the 400 rwhp mark based on the C6's numbers and the outcome of this race. Anyone seen the new vette dyno yet?

All Z51 C6's (LS2 and LS3) have a very short 2nd gear. It's like 52-72. 60 mph is a bad spot. You have a shift and you're likely to spin if you nail it on a roll at that speed in 2nd gear. 3rd gear gives good torque and no shift. Either way, not the best spot.

Regardless of the race, that C7 looks damn nice though. It has really grown on me especially the front.
