I busted my serpentine belt!!! This is the second time this happens. Some say to replace the tensioner... thoughts?

Tensioner and a belt guard on tensioner. hio has a pic floating around somewhere problem solved.

On the sauce? Why do you always post asking if I'm spraying? I raced this GT500 before and got him from a 30, before Pat G worked out my gremlins.

Sure. ..... it's pretty easy and very effective. All you need is some .060 aluminum and a hole saw. I used a 3 3/4" hole saw so it was bigger than the pulley by a good amount. You will have to drill the center out for the bolt. You will remove the pulley bolt and put a washer or two behind the guard to keep it off the pulley and then just reassemble it. It's easy. Here's a pic of one I used to run. I put a carbon cover over it.
