Lastly why the hell should I care?
If you brought up the point to compare the 4l60 to the 6r80, you obviously care...

Are you a Ford guy now?

So you're going to blame the driver that I raced? It is an automatic and he left it in drive. So now you going to blame the tuner, AED? Oh it must be their fault hahahahah

I know Mark Jackson in tulsa. He has a bolt on 5.0. Wanna run him? Car weighs 3458 pounds. Tune,Boss intake, driveshaft and full exhaust. Stock wheels with drs. Stock converter.Rest of car is stock. You game? That's less mods than you.

I don't have an aftermarket driveshaft, I have a stock intake manifold, and I do not have headers or full exhaust. Less mods? Lmao.

Are you talking about tulsa? Stock 5.0's run 11's there. Ask your friend about a guy named Robin Sanders.

Dropping trans next week, got a circle d 4c+ from chris.

I can take a picture of it with your name if you want me too, or do a driving vid to show I don't have an aftermarket stall.

92cobranotch trapped 116 with bolt ons, so how is my 113 with less done to it so unreasonable?

That's funny. Unlike you he doesn't have weight reduction, skinnies, suspension mods, ported throttle body or ram air. So by your standards it should be a good race. He can come to your track. You game???

My friend's "mild" weight reduction 5.0 weighs 3550 lbs. He weighs 100 lbs less than that.

As for my 113 trap speed runs.... If I was at tulsa the same day(where the da was right at 0, versus 700-800 at thunder valley) I would have likely trapped 114...

With some bolt ons I'm hoping to hit the 350 whp mark, about 30 more than i make now, and trap 115-116 with my lighter stall. If I went to tulsa(much better air, as previously mentioned) maybe 117.

With that trap speed, I will be running mid 11's.

This bench racing and basing speed, off mods I have done along the way, is the reason it's as quick as it is. It's about optimization. I'm not that guy that doesn't know how to set it up, so just throws a cam in there and hope it runs good.

I also really don't see why anyone would waste their money on a cobra or 5.0.... They are twice the price and twice as expensive to mod. If the progress rate of my car doesn't prove what a waste of money those cars are, in terms of 1/4 mile ability for the money, then I don't know what does. Spend $25k for a fairy dust sprinkled 10 year old mustang to run 11's with bolt ons or $8k for a 10 year old ls1 f body to run 11's with bolt ons. It's not like the cobra is a luxury car, the interior is the same as a normal new edge mustang with the door panel that always falls apart.

Yes there are exceptions, but this is how I look at it after watching some of the cars run here at my track.

Stock LS1= 12's. Stock Cobra=12's. Stock 5.0=12's.

Bolt on LS1= 11's. Bolt on Cobra(ported/pullied included)=11's. Bolt on 5.0=11's.

Power adder ls1(n20, turbo, etc), 10's. Power adder cobra(TVS/whipple/e85), 10's. Power adders 5.0(TVS/e85)=10's.

All 3 capable of 9's with WR + power adder.
I may be a country bumpkin, buy you mention you can trap more with your LIGHTER STALL. Wich indeed if you had a lighter one could only mean you have a current stall

He was way lighter than you,ran at a faster track, had more mods than you and is a m6 car which is older. Older cars run harder than the newer ones. He also has not been banned from forums for bsing like you

Trans will be out of the car for a few weeks while it's being built. Going to put in the 8.8 with 3.55's after that.

I'll let you think about why I'm going with longer gears.

Scales vary. It's a base model car with no options. Want to race or not. Can even wait for you to do more mods.

why wouldn't you just say"with a light stall" instead of "with my lighter stall" to install a lighter stall would only mean you have a heavier stall now.

I said "my" because I have it, but it is not in the trans yet.

Should have clarified.

I will race when the car has the built trans and 8.8 in.
