Since you GM guys like to always use the excuse "the camaro isnt made for straight line, itll kill the mustang on a track with turns" Well here it is, and it would seem this is what happens when you take 2 average drivers and race these cars on a track. Seems pretty fun!

300lbs was a guess made by Steeda...not a fact. In the case of the 1LE and Track Pack, in the hands of equal drivers on a road course, the 1LE is faster. Straight line could go either way.

road and track has reported it independently. samr ball park. steeda's explaination was simply backing down because of the **** storm it started.


the car is significantly heavier. while the power will be up enough, its a heavy pig.

there's been an unconfirmed insider say that steeda's 300 pound claim is a little hefty and it's more like 200-250 for the gt premium.

Ive heard 50-150lbs depending on options. The 300lb is in no way true. But who knows till the car debuts.
