Default Headers/Tune LS6 CTS-V vs Heads/cam Trans Am

Local guy and a friend used to own a V1. He has a nitrous c6 auto ls3 vette now. It was pacesetter headers with stock catback and a tune.

Damn figured the TA would of pulled the V with the mods it had lol. Crazy how quite the V cars are with factory catback even with no cats.

Yeah, they are V6 quiet. LOL
Thats why cutouts on a headers \ cat delete setup is a must if you want to enjoy hearing it.

Nice kill, but why was the TA so slow? That looked like a stock car.

Did it have a 4.6 4v swap?

My friend's stock ls6 heads/cam auto trans am made 372 whp and weighed 3670 lbs.

The V is making the same power and basically the same weight but its a 6 speed? I don't know.

Why does it weigh 250+ lbs more then stock though? Does it have a heavier rear end?

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to mod cars.

Track times for either?

And differential pieces on the ground shortly after. LOL No, but a dig would have been a much better run for the TA for sure.

I agree though. But not all H\C setup are the same. You can't say H\C and expect 450whp like most would like to believe.
