Was at the track yesterday with some friends, and saw a 98 cobra vert running 7.5s, an 02 GT running 7.1s, and then the weakling 2010 GT500 running consistant 6.0s all night.... Oh yeah and there was this maroon ls camaro with black racestars and slicks running 8.5s.

(1/8th mile track obviously)

Was surprised with the 2vs honestly, and the GT500 was sick.

It funny you made this thread. Ive often thought most people on this forum dont spend time at a track. Cause i can tell you for every fast gm car at my local track (OSW) there are 3 fords that are just as fast or faster. Its always like 3-4fords to 1gm every week.

All of these supercars on here one would think there would be more at the track.

It differs from track to track, the eastern half of KY has way more fast fords than GMs but at my home track it's the opposite.

This ls1 had at least exhaust, was an a4 car, ss package, drag wheels / tires, and still was mustering 8.5s... And then not to mention half the people on here who own stock cars but talk **** about how "shitty" 2vs and early 4vs are.. and 2 random mustangs at this event drug every ls car there.. Wont even mention the '10 GT500.

I watched 2 fif gens 2 weeks ago never muster better than 94 mph in the 1/4 out of 3 or 4 passes.

There was a cts-v there though that ran 10.8xs at 126-127. Sick ride!!

Every time I go to the track there are multiple Mustangs of all years running 14-15's. I never feel the need to post about them, or mention the ricers like Civics and Mazda's that beat them by 2+ seconds. Maybe next time I'll get some video's and rub in how slow they are.
