"that guy" with his 3.91's kept up great against the cammed "punisherSS"
Must be a shitty cam and tune on punisherSS's SS
Or a fantastic tune by LMR on "that guy"'s bolt on camaro with the help of 3.91's over the stock 3.45's

Great videos as always! and some really close runs all in all: always great to watch that.
Sorry guys, but going from 3.46 to 3.91 isn't gonna make much difference on them roll races. There is something else going on with That Guys ride. And the cam'd LS2 GTO getting the floor swept by a bolton/tune/3.91 5th gen then running side by side with the cam'd 5th gen that went side by side with the 3.91 5th gen? Did GTO driver take off in 5th gear or what?

Both are 6 speed cars.
That Guy has better gears, an under drive pulley and a much better intake. Punisher has piece of **** Injen intake that's pretty much smaller than the throttle body and no under drive pulley.
I believe the last run vs the GTO Punisher had his cutouts closed which he says makes the car slower. Assuming the GTO guy drove the same both races it makes sense since the first run Punisher had the cutouts open.

Pretty easy to understand the SS races. I figured the outcome to be exactly what it was assuming both guys could drive. The fifth is already undergeared from the factory given its fat body weight, 28" tires, 3.45 gears, and tr6060 gearing. There is no reason to have that much mph in your gearing with a car with that little power and that much weight. If i had to pick between gears or a cam in a fifth gen, it would be gears all day. All the cam is gonna do is move the power band up even further, thus making the gearing even worse in that car... vs the 3.91s would help the gearing out immensely in comparison to the cammed car. Then you can clearly see where the cammed car is making more power and starts to pull up top when they are both sitting in high gear/peak power. But personally if it was my car, it would have a big cam and 4.30s with some light 16" wheels and big tires

WTF are you talking about?
This is what I've been saying for a long time about 5gens. Most don't want to fix the issue....they just want to throw power at it and create more heat.

Man, I lol'd hard at this ,
Get lighter cars, period. Less mods to be quick.
If you're not willing to get a lighter car than FI up! Better throw a bunch of power at it to make it quick! For proof, study CTSV V2's.

Remember it's not a swap. Therfore you relpaced the ls1 cam and heads with a ls6 cam and heads. So you have a H/C camaro.
