Default 5.3l Turbo Vs 14 1000 RR

Here is a short clip, if I can get the other video from inside the car, I will post it in here also.

Here is the story, my freind has a stang he put a stock 5.3 in with ARP bolts and good bearings, it has a 76 mm turbo and made 532 to the tire on a mustang dyno.

He wanted to run a liter bike just to see, another friend called his bud and he rode up on a new 14 CBR 1000RR completely stock.

The long story short is the bike got pulled to the back tire, and then pulled back up the the front tire where they locked it up until they let off.

What do you think? I thought that was Dang good since he got the 5.3 for like 200.00 LOL

Good video and good run. I know personally it takes a lot more than that much hp in a fox to run down a new liter bike.

Was the fox a auto?

He been riding for over 8 years but just picked up the bike less than two weeks ago.

Working on getting the In car vid also.

BTW, according to the Bike rider they let off at 150MPH

Interesting. That bike is fairly limited from the factory. Great run. Any times for the car?

Surely the 5.3 is making more than 532WHP with a 76mm......those are 2V Modular numbers. Oh wait......

Nice car, but its pretty common knowledge that 530rwhp should not be enough to hang with a modern literbike.

Not saying it was a bad rider, but the guy only had the bike for under two weeks - which is not long enough to get the feel for a new bike no matter how long you have been riding for. I'd love to see a rematch in a month...

Good run, those bikes are monsters. Obviously that car has a broad, flat, monstrous torque curve which allowed him to make it a race. Good stuff.

Yes, he went 6.32 on his last pass at the strip, but that was on the first Turbo, this one make more power at less boost.

I talked to both parties, the Bike rider ... we will call him.. (Nick) stated they raced again Sunday, this time the Devil got out 3 cars on his bike, he was impressed.

As suggested by Y'all, they are planning a rematch with Vids, I am hoping it will happen this weekend (im am Not on-call)

If we get real lucky, there will be more bikes and maybe some fast cars to run.

I am working on some changes to my Z so I can play Too!!!

I can understand a 530rwhp car getting the jump on a SWB bike from a dig...but from a roll that 1000 should have ran away from him!

Could be that it was just a heart breaker dyno and its really closer to ~700 dynojet hp instead of ~600 like the numbers would suggest.

True,

The dyno number were before the changes, but has not re-dynoed it since, i stopped by today and we talked about the changes he made since then, he said it would be between 700-800.

I am done considering it, I am starting next year off with telling the wife i want turbo parts for this Chistmas. The cars I seen set up right, ficken get down.

This year i'm and making some changes and upping the shot, once done I will run the Devil, Go Pro + Spray ftw, I hope LOL
