Bolt on 2v vs Vortech V3 Avalanche
So my buddy wanted to do a dig race tonight, so I went out and we got some runs in. Did a dig run, 35 roll then another 35 roll.
Dig run was pretty bad. I had a bad reaction time but so did he, spun all through first because of raw 2v power, ended up pulling quite a few cars on him by the time I let off around 120
First 35 roll was pretty ugly too. I started in 2nd, soon as he honked the 3rd time I started pulling and kept pulling on him. Apparently his transmission wouldn't downshift like always.
Second 35 roll was closer. I let his truck downshift until I took off, and it was actually pretty close. I still pulled 3-4 cars or so I'd say on him by 110-120.
All in all that truck runs hard for sure, definitely wouldn't expect the truck to be that fast.
My car mods:
Tune, o/r x, Magnapacks, lowered, Pro5.0
Truck:
Vortech V3, stalled/built 6L90, Magnaflow catback, EFI Live tune by Vengeance
My car will be getting a V2 Si, ProCharger 3 core intercooler setup hopefully soon. Truck will be getting longtubes, Corsa catback, smaller pulley and a cam because of me.
Vids soon hopefully.

Nice runs, that truck will definitely surprise a few people. And your car is gonna be pretty damn stout too, ~400rwhp in those cars is mighty fun. I would consider running steeper gears though.

Yes, the truck definitely is surprising.
Plan for my car after the V2 is put on, is buying a 2nd gen 12v Cummins lol. I need something to daily and for my commute to school. After the truck is bought and I do some things to the truck, then I will go back to the car and get LT's and 4.10s.
Steeper gears will happen for sure, but not until later.
