Default M6 5.bro vs A6 5.bro

M6 is the camera car. both had passengers. camera car has exhaust, barton shifter and stock 3.73's. auto car is bone stock. sorry about the potato vid, it took me a couple seconds to realize that my finger was covering the camera.

auto is consistently faster. it would take a really good driver to win with the manual. auto takes a little distance every time the M6 shifts.

5.0 -v- 5.0? So... There is no potential winner?

Wow~ What calendar did they use to time it?

Sorta seems pointless, doesn't it?

I know and I love manuals

back in the good ole days the manual was clearly faster because if the additional gearing. now it's the other way around.

worst decision I ever made with the 2011 is ordering it with a manual. if I ever do race it at the track I have to replace it and the clutch with a real transmission/clutch. at the track with slicks, and power shifting, an auto doesn't have a lot of advantage(unless its 3.90-4.56 rear). I haven't power shifted it once since the clutch was replaced. it will shear off again.

whenever I do shift it hard it grinds into 2nd. that will break it. trash mt-82 trans.

Just put in a good twin disc. That's what's wrong with the MT82. The stock clutch is just ****.

The MT82 is prone to failure.
