I think what Nick H. is asking is, what does it take to turn a bone stock f-body into an 11 sec car? Correct me if I am wrong.

Well go back and look up notch's mods. Go to the drag section and look at the records list. It really is that simple.

lol its a looooonnnnnggggg list. I heard LS1tech is going to hire him as a consultant since he is the only guy to unlock the ability to move a 3200lb car to 131 in a quarter mile with 417rwhp.

So you mean to tell me we are on a car forum but should'nt mod our cars?????

I guess you should put your stock pulley back on, remove the killer chiller and what ever else you have done.

Explain how 417rwhp moves a 3200lb car to 130 in the quarter. You can it's physics.

Oh it's about physics alright. And your lack of understanding it.

Here ya cobro.....read up on your physics

Perfect. Explain nothing. Your car just magically traps 5-6mph higher than cars with way more power and mods than you. All of ls1tech has been going about it all wrong. After a decade hio revolutionizes modding LS motors...
Or your just full of ****.

I'm estimating the raceweight to be around 3000lbs.
The car has ARH, 4.10 gears, fast manifold, CAI, and other supporting bolt ons.
Hahaha race weight 3000lb. Gears and a fast manifold. His car is lighter than yours with more mods. Slicks skinnies, you can hear the no lift shift, 2 step. Yet you trap the same. This sure is making solid sense.

I agree its completely out of the ordinary. 130mph trap at 3200 lbs with ~417whp does not add up much at all. Possibly perfect air and phenomenal track conditions played a big roll at the time. Could be from a very low reading dyno, which then makes his bolt-on only LS6 even more unrealistic. Regardless, if what he claims is true then seriously good for him. If he actually lies about the subject, then he has to deal with being that type of person. Take it with a grain of salt.

Well if you would look at the whole thread you would see that car ended up goin 135......maybe because of that lower raceweight, no lift shift, slicks and 2step.

did you watch that 130 run? Takes off spins and lets out.....still to go 130.

My car would make about 430~ on a dyno jet. I don't lie about ****. I Have no reason to. The car has been well documented on here over the years with the changes it has went through.

No phenomenal track conditions needed. Last time out track was ****. It was a no prep drive in street car day @ about 1500 da. It went 129.9.

Main thing here is that no matter what you do or say we all know stock for stock and mod for mod the Cobra is faster than an fbody. You know it and i know it. We all know it.

I have been on this site for almost a year now. You know your not doing well when i constantly see other Fbody guys calling you out on your lies. It starts to get sad.
If this is true why are you one of the slowest cobros on this site?

Bolt ons and weight reduction and some drivetrain mods basically you can do it with a stock long block but with other supporting mods.
