Who is this guy?

Headed to DR. Gonna be a high of just under 50 today. Should make for interesting conditions.

snake95 is going to be mad at me, but to be honest I'm starting to lean more that route. Focus on a nice, more practical DD first. My GP is nearing 100k miles and those transmissions are known to be crap.

GS can always come down the road. Not really practical to own a nice GS but then have a GP as a daily that may not be very reliable these next few years. Get rid of my TA and GP and buy a nice/quick daily and use my truck for winter duties/towing/hauling.

V2. 09+. I've seen quite a few with decent mileage dip to the lower 30's - and lets face it, the GP is a boring DD.

This. And hush.
Its a solid move. The drivetrain is solid and won't require any real upgrades unless you're close to or over 1k or so from what it seems. It does looks like some small problems are starting to surface in the V owners fb and sections for v2s for the most part though. Avg mileage and time is getting up there now

Seriously, what is it lately with Nancys coming in and saying Zomg like you all don't need to be such meanies, this section is immature, etc.

If don't like it, then don't ******* click the link that says "Street Racing & Kill Stories".

I mean it is THAT ******* easy, I **** you not!!

I could not imagine this Section without this. In all honesty, I like the racing vids and all but the arguments between some of the guys on here is funny as hell but at the same time, still educational in terms of engines, chassis, suspension etc. Some of the guys definitely have a way of getting their point across. The stuff I read on here still have me laughing a couple days later.

What issues have you seen pop up specifically?

V2 would be me selling the TA and the GP for a classy/fun DD. GS would be me selling the TA and it staying stock for awhile. I think the V2 is the most practical route of them all. I'm also liking how much abuse the stock 6l90 and converter seem to be taking.

I don't think a mid 10 second car is asking too much of the drivetrain. Probably a good set of axles, a pulley, tune, CAI, and headers would make a fun car.

So the Formy seems to be a lost cause. The body is in much rougher shape than I thougt. The motor is good and strong though! Transplant ideas maybe? Just sell the motor maybe? Not sure what to do.. I really just wanted it for the body anyways.

The V2 for sure gets my vote just because;
A) it has plenty of room for rear passengers
B) has a better engine platform to start with once you're ready to mod.

Down side = it has a big weight disadvantage over the GS.

If you can live past that weight disadvantage then the V2 is the right choice.

Depends what kinda car would you like to transplant the engine to?
