Default Viper vs GTR and ZO6

Some runs after installing headers, catback, pulley, intakes and tune on my viper.

Nice run! I thought the cammed C6 would have hung in a little longer though.

Regardless, the Viper is a beautiful car! I went to the local Dodge dealer for service on my wife's Caliber and a 2015 Stryker Green Viper was in the showroom. I was drooling over that car. On the other hand, the price tag of $121K quickly gave me the droopy dick.

Right there with ya. 10 cylinders just sound.... Like a 10 cylinder lol. 8 cylinders has the most beautiful sound a man could ask for, and then 12 cylinders would be my next favorite exhaust note.

Edit: Good runs btw OP! GTRs are gay as hell.

Yea man.....The price of this new stuff will knock the hard on right out of ya.

Then in VA you get nailed with a personal property tax of almost 5% a year on top of the sales tax . Your lookin at $4k a year just to own it. **** that. .......I'm gonna ride in my old fcar and my old truck a long time before I spend $4k a year to own something.

Hard to really tell and this is just ricer bench racing from me, but I think the Z06 could have used a tad more tire. Guys so low that it looks like he's running a fairly stretched setup to tuck it underneath the fender.

Viper moves the hell out though. I'd take it over the other two cars in the vid and my car any day.

I actually like the concept of the personal property tax which we also pay in NC. If you want to live modestly you pay less personal property tax. If you want the most expensive toys then you pay the higher tax. Either way, you will be paying tax in one way or another, I would rather have it based on what I spend instead of pay an average amount.

Cool man.......maybe you should volunteer to pay mine.

It's the stupidest ******* concept ever. Let me tell you how ******* stupid it is. I bought my house in pieces off of a plan. Because my uncle and i assembled all the 2x4, roof trusses, siding, drywall, plumbing. ....etc i have to pay a ******* penalty for it. I could have left all that **** to build the house in a pile on my property and never paid a nickle of property penalty tax......to the tune of $1300 every 6 months just to keep my ****.

Leave that tax bullshit in the sales part. That way when you buy more $$ you pay more. If you can make/grow it yourself then you get the break.

i can't believe that. blows my mind. property taxes on a heavily depreciating asset. what a great way to stagnate an economy.

I hear ya,man but it sounds like you are more pissed with the concept of taxes in general as opposed to the concept of a personal property tax. You have to just accept the fact that you are going to pay in one way or another.

On a side note, I will never complain about the tax rates at least here in NC. I have had the unfortunate experience of living 12 miles outside of NY city and my property taxes there were a little over $10K a year for a Cape built in 1947 on a 50x25 lot. You want to talk about getting screwed, live up there for a while. They do not even supply the Vaseline when it is time to collect the property taxes.

Edit: What I pay now between my property tax and personal property tax does not even come to 1/3 of what I payed in NY. I'll take this without an argument any day.

BTW..sorry for sidetracking the thread.
