so I raced a buddy in an ls2 gto. hes cam only, around 455 rwhp
I'm around 405rwhp, cam only. both 6 speed. both had passengers, his was a bit heavier. first race was like 45-50 roll. i was in second, and let out somewhere towards the top of 4th. he spun a bit.

second race was similar speed but for some reason i started in 3rd, and it killed me. then i shifted into 5th and he blew by.

I feel like having my sns2 style cam with stock gears is killing me. waiting on 3.90s Also i was shifting slow because I've had hydraulic issues so I'm waiting on a tick master. all in all it was awesome, I feel like both cars run well. i feel on a perfect run he'd edge me out.

lmao thanks guys. i was shifting kinda slow, but i wanted to see how the cars matched up. i think from a roll in 2nd or 1st with perfect traction on each car it'd be a good race.

Had 410s in my TA m6 and loved them. Wouldn't of had it any other way !

I would go with 390s in a A4

isn't the 3.90 gear set stronger? and is it a negligible difference between 3.90s and 4.11s?

I believe the lower the gear number the thicker the ring gear and higher the thinner. Something to that effect.

Never had any problems from mine. Was perfect for the 1/4. went through the traps in 4th right near redline
