I just called Liberty about this the other day. Guy was cool, said that he also did the faceplating for RPM, he's 1k cheaper. How does it drive during normal cruising? Much lash? I am really wanting to get this done.

I'm very happy with the trans, it'll take you some adjusting for normal driving you have to rev match to down shift and always shift faster then with a synchronized trans. Part throttle Up shifts are smooth as stock if you double clutch and wot shifts are a breeze 😁

Hio could you provide more details on your clutch less shifting? Do you let off throttle at all? I asked liberty about that and they said always depress clutch since it reduces shock load.

Sure man. .....for starters i have a really light clutch in the car to help with that shock load.

Now all i do is breathe the throttle and pull the gear. Once you get the timing down it's smooth as silk and becomes second nature.you have to really commit to the shift to......not yank the shifter out of the tranny but just a quick smooth effort. Once off the throttle it shifts really easily.

Practice it some at low rpm doin it to get the feel of it under heavy part throttle say.

The fp'd t56 will shift w/o letting off the gas if you yank hard enough.....but if you doin it the way I'm doin it you really dont yank on the shifter.

Post up vids when you get it!
