tuned on e85 by local shop

Honda mods

Yeah 5.0 got him, they did a lower roll and the honda was out too far for the 5.0 to reel him in. Expected more from the mustang.

Indeed. K20's are pretty stout little motors, I used to work with a guy that put one in an EG hatch and had just bolt-on's and a 50 shot. He'd stay pretty much even with me from a high roll.

Man..close run! Any weight reduction or nitrous shot on the Honda? It is easy to leave those mods out of the description... almost like cam-only. lol

If by done right, you mean a lot of track time and a lot of money spent on attention to detail... then yes you would be right. But youre essentially making a fast CAR.... the motor still makes mid 300s. THats plenty of power to make a car with a race weight of 3000-3100lbs car run well into the 11s at close to or touching 120mph.


But lets not confuse a vast effort... for simplicity.
