Default Fasterproms bolt on C7 Z06 10.08@139mph VIDs inside!

I know this has been posted already by others but we wanted to clarify a few things.
The Power mods are as follows:
-modified AFE CAI with air duct and cutout air box
-Fasterproms Thermal reduction plates
-Fasterproms Expansion tank
-ARH 1.875 headers
-Fasterproms Flex fuel kit (65% That night)
-Fasterproms Tune by Jeremy Formato

The car is a manual (M7) and is full weight.
The card dynoed 676RWHP/684RWTQ SAE Dynojet the day it ran this time. We tested the car on 32-65% E85 that day and the power varied within 8HP. The car is on STOCK BOOST with the STOCK pulleys STOCK INTERNALS. The Thermal Reduction Plates and Expasion tank cooling Modifications that we have used on this are new and they WORK EXCEPTIONALLY. The Blower does not get HOT we will be releasing these mods the week of 2/9-13. The car has level 1 Aero so a bit less drag than higher level aero vehicles. The weather was very good as well.

What we were able to do with a minimal amount of money and modifications can most certainly be duplicated and that's why we took this route. Most of the night I was running 10.3@ 138-9 w/ 1.66-1.73 60's until I was able to nail the 1.54 60'. It takes a GTR a small fortune to run this fast and most vehicles with a power adder the first mod is to add more boost. We wanted to showcase our products and knowledge of the platform and this provided the perfect avenue. Believe me it wasn't without diligence night after night of hard work and failure. But now we have a working model that does it.

We have a CUSTOM pulley going on this week and we will port the blower and post the results and go back to the track next week.

I read on a number of forums that we are lying and this and that....I havent made my career being a Liar. If you are an honest person this is particularly bothersome. My father was in this very business and I am one of the very few 2nd generation EFI tuners. He always said "if you dont tell a lie you wont get caught in a Lie". Not many people realize The we at one point had the fastest manual CTSV (currently 2nd 12psi only), and the 2nd fastest C7 manual (currently 3rd only 6psi). We also have many customers that have numerous records of all varieties.

Here are a few other cars there at the track with us breaking records as well.
C7 Z06 Record

CARLOS RIOS FASTEST bolton (AND STOCK) w/o internal modification C7 10.96 backed up by a 10.92@125
NO CAI no HEADERS!

Andy Driver '12 FASTEST GRAND SPORT and 3rd FASTEST LS3!
stock rear end and TQ converter

Matt Hurleys 09 ZR1 FASTEST on stk 19"wheels and 4th fastest ZR1

I would like to Thank God first, with him all things are possible. My Wife and Family for putting up with all the time Ive been away and working. All The people that we work with and come in contact with and those that help us when we need it, THANK YOU. We are a small shop and a family business we try our best to treat others as we would want to be treated. We try to be competitive with the larger shops, The most money doesnt always go the fastest.
Thank you
Jeremy Formato

Nice work Formato! If I were you, I wouldn't run more than 30-40% ethanol. Not necessary and there are plenty of studies to back that up with regards to FI DI setups(MIT, FoMCO, SAE, etc). 50% seemed to be the point of diminished results. Your HPFP will thank you too :-)

Looking forward to more updates and improvements!

Holy **** way to push the engineering envelope! That's flying specially for minimalistic mods.

I have a feeling the A8 C7Z with these mods is going to be deep into the 9s.

Things getting down

I also have a quick question for you if a customer was to ask "Do I need a Transmission cooler for a Stalled 4l60E" what would your answer be?

Auto car should fly!

Thanks for the clarification.... Great job! I like the idea of running the stock pulley.

So we agree that a pulley swap is still considered bolt ons?

Sure hope ole Dougy doesn't jump in here flopping once again but once the auto's come out with the same mods.....LAWDY

I don't know how it wouldn't be. Anything supercharged should already be laying down good numbers so it's not like you have to try and down play the mods. What cracks me up nowadays is the forced induction direct injections cars saying tune only lol. Yes it is tune only but you also upped the boost substantially. It that case all fuels are the same and my high boost is the same as my low boost. Some people like to be sneaky and others like to make themselves feel better by making their car seem like it runs way above average for the mods. THIS RESPONSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE C7 IN THIS THREAD. More so the turbo DI cars. New ecoboost mustang for example.

Fasterproms took the car to the track last night (Bradenton Motorsports Park) with the smaller pulley and ported blower and made two 9 second passes. The first was a 9.92 @ 139.XX with a 1.49 60ft and they backed it up with 9.87 @ 139.XX.

Here is a video of the 9.87 pass but unfortunately the quality isn't that great:

If you ask automach he'd tell you even a blower swap is just a bolt on...
