Default 2006 Corvette base automatic bone stock vs random manual coyote 5.0

One of my buddies C6 base against a random M6 5.0 last night. They ran 4 times and this was the closest race.

Lighter with an auto, what's the surprise? Power to weight traction holding, trumps all.

Seems about right for both cars stock. I don't see why 150k miles is a problem on the C6 unless you're trying to tell us it's unhealthy in some way. Is there actually a problem with the car?

Ls2 vettes run good. The intake and cam are really holding them back. Gm woulda had a winner there if they woulda used the 02-04 ls6 cam.

Went from a 40 roll 2x with the same results, then a 50 roll in the vid. 2 people in the 5.0, 2b people in the C6. C6 was very well maintained and drives like brand new btw. Has a cam, headers, and exhaust going on it next weekend. Might even try to squeeze out a ported fast 90.

Agreed. I'm at 148k right now, 190psi all cyl tested 3 weeks ago, putting 370whp with headers and tune only on LS2 back at ~130k miles \ 2 years ago. The mileage means **** if the cars in good shape.
