Default 01 T/A vs 07 C6 Vette & a couple others out playing around.

This is just a couple runs we took on a car cruise not too long ago. It was cold that day so we didn't do any digs, but it was still a good time.

1st run 01 T/A vs 07 C6 Vette. Ignore my kids comment at the end, we all know each other so you know how that goes lol.

2nd run 01 T/A vs 98 ss turbo Camaro on low boost/timing. Found out it had a boost leak and pulls a lot harder now (same Camaro in my other post).

This is kind of a "why not" run between me and a 01-04 mustang gt? Unknown mods and wasn't even planning on running each other. The Camaro jumped early and I saw the front end lift of the mustang lift, so at the last second I decided to nail it.

3rd run 01 T/A vs Acura Integra, I'm not sure of the mods but it really surprised me.

4th run 01 T/A vs 98 mustang pi swapped gt. We new the outcome but like I said, we were all having fun.

Thanks guys we had a good time, can't wait for spring to get here again. Yeah I kind of felt bad for the guy with the pi swapped mustang, he was really cool and just kind of wanted to see how it went lol. I will probably have some runs this spring of me getting kicked around like that mustang by two turbo ss Camaro's and a procharged gto. I'm saving for heads now, but I don't think they will help.......maybe a 150 shot? lol

Well he learned what I learned: modding those cars with HCI and full bolt-ons MIGHT bring you up to a stock 'LS; those cars just aren't worth it...

Thanks man, I am actually surprised how well it works with them. Yeah that road is pretty awesome and if you have a good group of guys then it makes for a really good time.

Yeah unfortunately they pretty much need a blower to be equal performance wise for these older ones. My kid had a 99 gt with the bullet wheels with 315's in back and I liked that car, it just wasn't fast even after the mods. I like the older mustangs like a 67 but I think my next car will be a 03/04 cobra for the wife. I've always been a Pontiac guy and will be til I die, but I'll still drive it. I'll just have to make sure min is faster than hers lol.
