LOL, yeah he's the driver of the C5Z06. We told him if he was gonna do a flashlight start that he had to do it Big Chief style and get the shuffle in there too.

Edit: Both cars have an even jump out of the hole, are side-by-side thru 1st, but the s/c C5Z starts a good steady pull in 2nd. That MN12 gearing is great for dig racing.

I actually thought that it is pretty sad for a new 5.0 with exhaust to only manage "~1" car from a 10 year old N/A stang with minimal bolt-ons and a canned tune. I would have thought it would have been worse.
You have to also remember that a 3-mod 5.0 is a low 11 second car so a 1 mod is at least good for low 12's.

What was the jump worth if you watch the vid again? 3/4 to 1 car? Also, they were both spinning. It just so happened that the driver of the MACH had the better jump.
Not hating, I am just surprised (and disappointed) that 5.0 did not lay the smack down on him.

A 5.0 has trouble hooking on the track with the stock 235s, despite the prepped surface. Now imagine how bad it is when you're on an unprepped surface in cooler weather. The Mach 1 has the advantage with less power because it's going to spin less.
