Default So we finally know. ....Ecoboost Stang vs HHR SS

Ok Ok, he was stock and im kinda not.

Really cool guy.
Traded in a shelby for the new eco.
Was tired of 15mpg.

Im on the HW and peep the new body style up a bit.
Stalking to check for 5.0 badge, "thankfully" no badge cuz i dont run 10's.

So ok, must be a 6 or an eeco, either of which id assume would give me a good run, provided they pay attention to a lunch box.

I blow off and whistle a lil as i pull by.
Then as.i slow he guns it. As do I.
I stop pulll immediately and pull about a car.
I didn't feel need to NLS 2-3 but i did from 3-4.
Id think was a high 40 low 50 roll.

Got a good car out in him and wulda put more real estate as we got up in the triple.
Let off am played a lil goosin it.
But no line up #2

My car felt strong. New clutch, shifter ****, tires, etc.
ready to hit track.

He caught a red as i got in left lane.
So i puled next to him.
No dig cuz a cop was in turn lane. So we talked

He said he knew something was up.... like, is that an hhr with an intercooler?

Was a big step to drop a shelby for the eco.
But he seemed very very enthusiasts about using 86 octane amd getting 28mpg.

15 mpg with a Shelby is way to low guess he couldn't keep his foot out of it. I got around 22 mpg on the highway no problem with mine. Good kill !

And that defeats why he traded the shelby.
And if if if.
i could be in e47 and bolt up a well known turbo swap for 400hp

I get 15mpg the way I drive and at least 20mpg when I stick to the limit on the hi-way.

My goat gets better gas mileage than the QX.....lol....18-20 compared to 12-14 Their combined gas mileage probably equals a civics normal MPG.

You're just salty because my truck gets better MPG than your truck.

Huggers wagon is pesky for those that don't know what a HHR SS is. Fun wagon for sure.

I don't understand this type of thinking. If you buy a high HP performance car, wtf are you concerned with MPG's for? If it's ment as a DD and you don't have a lot of cash to get it filled up, then don't buy a performance car.

That Ecoboost is way below what that Shelby was, and after modding it to match or surpass it, mpg's ain't gonna be so good anymore. However, while there not crazy expensive, if you got Shelby money, wtf are you concerned about mpg's for??? Lol it's crazy.
