Default 2012 Hyundai Genesis vs 2010ish Taurus SHO

Headed down the freeway, happened to see this car weaving in and out of traffic. He finally catches up and gets next to me at about 55 and start Goosing the throttle. So I slow down to about 50 and drop a gear. I honk it off and we go. He pulls slightly ahead by a bumper on the hit. But by 120 I was about half a car ahead. Was a cool guy. He thought my car was a Mercedes lol

p.s. Sorry for no video this time :-(

You stood side by side from 50-120? Sounds like it was a good run. Wouldn't be surprised at the outcome either.

Weight kills them and being only like 365 hp doesn't help lol. But with a tune you have a high 12s car. Never really cared for the new SHO. To much money for what it does I could buy another 392 charger for less and mop the floor with it.

Just seen it's almost 4400lbs!!! That's freaking insane. Guess they had to fatten it up, so it didn't whoop up on the 5.0. Seen one with a tune skull **** one tho. Surprising

Are you sure about that?

I know there is that one site that claims it is a 13.1 second car, but I have yet to see anyone get anywhere close. It seems like it's a high 13 to low 14 second car. The V8 version is in the low 13 range, so that's probably where the figure came from.

Congrats on the Genesis, btw. This thread reminds me that I still need to get you a race video in my DD and I'll have something at some point. Maybe beating a coal-roller or a ricer, since that's always amusing. Or I'll Automach and beat everything.

He was talking about the SHO being a 12 second car with a tune.

same mistake I made because the OP never bothered to tell us what the hell he had, nor did he have anything in his signature to let us know what car he might be referring too. Guess we are supposed to be psychic?

You have NOTHING in your signature, and your story telling ability is stunted down to the 9th grade level, and yes I'm a dick. Now are ya gonna fix that signature?

Please explain to me how comment is at a 9th grade level. Don't worry. I'll wait. And now can you see my signature? Douchebag Double Check....

Yes, your picture is now in your sig, though not in the original post which is what we are arguing about. Your storytelling is typical of younger kids with it's abbreviated length and incomplete, stunted sentences. Too many people tend to cut n chop there sentences and paragraphs down to tiny little chunks that only make sense to them as if some demented maniac ordered them to cut Star Wars down into a 15 second movie.

Next time imagine you are telling the story to someone who does not know you nor your car. Then write it down in that same flowing, fluent way you would say it out loud in person. It never ceases to amaze me that people can express themselves literately with proper sentences and such but butcher it when writing.
