6.4L SRT Challenger vs the 'ol F-body
I was minding my own business taking a stroll in mexico when a new 6.4L challenger pulled up at a light. My "V6" badge and SLP loudmouth exhaust with a cam seemed a contradiction so he tested me. Light turns green and he just does a huge tire roast. I leave from Idle and put 3-4 cars on him...
We get rolling and when the road gets clear he tries to pass me from about 50. I downshift to 2nd gear and right as his front bumper is about to inch past mine I start pulling from him and go on to put another 2 cars on him, letting out from 100. (Would have kept going but speed limit in mexico was like 45).
I pull into the gas station because I was about to be walking, and he followed. Very nice guy but he was very disappointed in losing to an "old Camaro". I told him if it made him feel better that it wasn't stock and it wasn't a V6.
We lined up going about 30 and I gave him the hit. It was a long vacant highway so we did not let out till my speedometer was well past buried. I had put 3-4 cars on him again.
Pretty normal? Did he need a driver mod? BTW I need a gopro so I can catch this stuff!
