Default Not a kill, but damn... HE LIVED!!! Bad NASCAR crash

I posted a clip of this yesterday. Hit a wall while airborn at 180-190mph, car is shredded, the damn engine ejected and he walked away apparently unhurt.

What's amazing to me is that he went from 180+ to 0 almost instantly. That by itself could have killed him. And he's walking around just fine. That's hard to believe, but I'm glad for it.

The safety built into those cars is amazing. Thank goodness that catchfence is extremely strong to have stopped the car from entering the stands.

So crazy to watch the video from inside the car he flew over. Glad everyone is okay after that big crash.

I'm saying! His damn suite even looks like he just put it on.

At 2:12 you can see the whole engine and trans bouncing across the track on the bottom left of the screen. Imagine if that had gone off into the stands instead.

It's amazing to see him walk away, but very sad that someone has to at some point in time, lost their life to ensure the safety standards are increased along with the performance. Very incredible thinking of how this crash made late Dale Earnhardt's crash seem like nothing.

Yup. I was thinking that.

Agreed. The guy who made that catch net setup needs a raise... but they're lucky nothing else went in that direction.
