Default KFC Trans Am vs 650 whp Cobro [Dig]

Good friend of mine wanted to test his car from a dig on the street, we ran for fun twice last night. He's on ET streets @ 11 psi, I'm on Hoosier Radial Pro @ 15 psi. Cam only 416 whp LS1 for me, 2.3 TVS, bolt on, weight reduction, 650ish whp for him.

I really wish I had gear behind me, I'm still only on 3.42s. Second run I really gave it the beans and let it eat off the line!

Nope, I held him off both times, we were running 1/8 mile where the finish line camera was, but ran it out to about 1/4 both times, he came around me the first time but the second time I ran 3rd all the way out, about 115 mph and he couldn't catch me.

It's all in the launch! When he passed me, he came around hard! It's a 135 mph car so it's no slouch but in such a short race that instant 1-2 cars is hard to make up.

Nice. Holding your own even when boxing above your weight class. Well done.

Here are the corresponding finish line videos since some of you asked who won.

Oh i see it. Sure seemed like he was coming out of the hole pretty soft. IMO Zero ***** given is a 5k dump. I have buddies who cut 1.6s on stock IRS with an ET street.

But do they dig race on a concrete highway? Two different worlds between track and street.

I only have a brace and I manage 1.6's on et streets as well. Usually come out at about 3200.
