335i vs 14 gt vs ls2 gto vs k20 civic
335i automatic mods: jb4, dci, catless downpipes, exhaust, intercooler and a race gas mix. No times on race gas. 1/8 on pump gas was a 8.2@90.90
14 gt 6spd track pack mods: airaid intake, kooks lts, exhaust and Lund race tune. Best 1/4 12.4@116 before headers.
Ls2 automatic GTO mods: fast intake(90mm), ported stock tb, under drive pulley, 180 thermostat, stainless works 1 3/4 headers, SLP loudmouth 2, performabuilt lvl 2 trans, 2800 stall, iat relocation and tuned by vengeance. Best 1/4 12.3@113 having to take it easy on the launch.
Eg hatch mods: k20, built head with stage 3 cams, stage 5 clutch, intake manifold, tb, header, exhaust. Dynoed 260/185 in a 2100lb car. No times
First run was the 335i( on map 5, auto tune sees about 16psi) and 14gt. Roll race started at 60 an ran to 130. Race was dead even from start to finish. This happened 2 times, same results.
Now for the 335i( map 7 race gas tune, sees about 18psi peak, but tapers off) vs ls2 GTO vs 14 gt. This race started from a roll( GTO wanted it). We all 3 line up and the gt leaves a little early on the 3rd honk. The GTO hangs for a second, but falls back fast and I pull the gt back down from being a car back and nose him out before 130. So map 7 made a difference. Gto ended up throwing the car into neutral. That's why he fell back.
Next race 335 vs. Gto round 2. Same roll. This time the GTO did much better but still lost by almost 2 cars.
Last race 335i vs eg hatch. From a 40 roll he wanted. Civic hung in there till about 80 and then got pulled on by the 335i by about 2 cars. Race happened 2 times and same results each time.

The bmw is fun that is for sure.
My friend with the gt his 12.4@116(2.2 60ft) is having to roll off of idle. All he does is blow his nitto 555's off if he doesn't. Car made 395/384 before headers and recent tune. We also have another friend with a bone stock 5.0 that runs 12.1@113 with just a radial.
