Cammed E85 FBO Coyote vs H/C/I 5.7 CTS-V So all this talk about how bolt on coyotes walk h/c/i 5.7 f bodies... If this myth is true he shouldnt have any issues with the same motor in a heavy boat.
We raced e85 full bolt ons and it was dead even, then i got a dyno tune and he got cams.

Said coyote has lund tune, JLT CAI, CJ intake/tb, full jba exhaust, comp stage 3 cams, McCloud RXT(or RST) clutch, 1 piece ds, 3.73s. Limiter at 7750 iirc,
I have cnc'd ls6 heads, Factory airbox, ported fast 92, full 3 inch exhaust with x pipe, LS7 clutch with aluminum flywheel, 237/245 .639/.630 112 lsa cam, factory 2 piece ds and factory rear 3.73s. Limiter at 7250.

LOL Cammed Coyote motor isn't anything to sneeze at, although these V1s with the right h\c combo can move out. Not gonna be as easy as just beating up normal bolt on bros tho.

I'm not sure who said they beat h/c/i LS1s, but I wouldn't agree with that. Cam only is what I would say would be required to run with a FBO yoke. Regardless, it still takes more mods to run with them, despite a weight advantage.

Cam only absolutely murders FBO bro's. Bolt on for bolt on they are dead even. Live with it kid.

I saw a grey gen 1 V go through my town Sunday night. Had at least exhaust. If I had been near my car I would have taken off and caught him for a run. Wonder if it were anyone on here.
