First race did a dig and I got destroyed, spun so stupid bad I let off and gave up, second race
25 roll, terrible spot for me as the car didn't kick down. Headed to the strip now

That 79 is pretty strong. Has it been to the track yet?

Yup, but developed some major issues on the way. First pass went 13.3@108, 2.5 60. Car lost fuel pressure and will hardly run. I'm expecting low 12's when fixed.

Thanks! This little bastard pulls like freight train. I'm extremely impressed. It is after all completely Gm, the only aftermarket is the headers and I'm expecting low 12's. So far very pleased. I started the car for the first time at 8pm last night and I've beaten 3 mustangs and 1 ls already. If it had a stall it would be an animal I think. All that said, it's got some severe problems that developed that I need to address to get it were it can be.

Thanks man! The 79 drug this 00 that bad and then went 13.3 later on at the track. Between the time I raced this camaro and the truck it developed some big problems, keep dying , won't idle, not sure what's going on. My laptop battery is shot so I haven't a way to do any logs. Tonight I'm borrowing a power inverter so I can fix it. Last night I raced a 07 GT auto with full boltons, WR, 4:10's etc, pulled out a car on him. That GT has beat slot if mostly stock ls cars.

very cool build. Sounds & looks like that LS9 cam carries the power well in the upper rpm range. Put a stall in that thing and it'd be nasty!

Thanks man, it seems to pull hard all the way thrue, but it's shifting at 5,000 vs commanded 6,500 and I need to figure out why. My wife wanted a 2nd gen camaro, so I picked up a couple rollers and made a decent one. I just wanted s nice little daily driver that drove like stock and had a little pep. But this 5.3 had other ideas I guess, because it's pretty damn stout lol.

I've always liked the look of the late second gen Camaros, they were always overshadowed by the birds for those years.
Nice pull man.

Your car rock's.
I would love to find a mint 2nd gen, swap all my running gear over to it and I would have my dream car.
Beautiful line's on those things.
