Default 99 ls1 trans am (weld wheels)

So you guys are always the site I come to for questions I have but I came seem to find an answer to this question , my car is basically stock and I want to start building it but i want weld wheels for her and they gotta,be black so I walk reading on here I can fit 315s under the rear and was wondering what size rim I would need? I think I would like 15x10 or 11 but don't know if the 315 will fit a 10 rim oh and what kind of back spacing do I need? Any help would,be appreciated thanks

Hey sorry about being in the wrong page, I took a look at the chart you offered , thank you, also how am I suppose to know if the wheels and tires will even fit the car without rub?

It seems like it's hit or miss on here with 315's if they'll rub or not. Most likely you'll have to use a bfh and massage the inner wheel wells a little, but I'm not sure if you'll have to roll the fenders or not. You may need an adjustable panhard bar to center your rear end if one side is closer to your fender than the other. If you plan on lowering your car then it will be a must. Good luck!

With a weld RTS I believe you need a medium pad height for a 15x10 and 7.5" back spacing

The pad height is so the rim can fit over newer, larger brakes.

Many weld rims won't but some of the newer styles like the RT-S will with the proper pad height
