SRK Track rental at MIR Postponed until 11/16 Unfortunately we are going to push this rental back to November. Some of us including myself aren't going to have our cars ready in time. Refunds are going out.
We will be looking to organize this meetup again in November and hopefully get more people interested. I'll update this thread as plans come together.
Who is interested? Trying to set a date and get organized for a fun day of **** talk and racing

Would really like to do a exclusive rental, but need 24 cars minimum. Who wants in?

Talked to Gene at MIR today and March is wide open.
I propose March 10, with the 11th being a backup day.

The rental is booked! Guys the cost of prep I quoted was wrong. It was only for one lane and we are renting two lanes. Entry fee is still the same, prep will be split between everyone. I am collecting entry fees from the people who committed to the rental. At a closer date to the rental I will contact everyone and let them know how much prep cost will be per person.
Cost is 200,per person at most. 100 for the entry, and a additional $1860 split between everyone for track prep past the 60 ft. If we have more than 18 people obviously the prep cost goes down.

If I could make a suggestion. I'd think it would be more beneficial to have it more centrally located unless there is a great deal of people on the east coast that would go. Maybe even Ohio or something.
BTW, I have certain life events happening in March so I most likely would not be able to go.

East coast hero run fest is where it'll be, and MIR is hard to beat for track prep. DD willing to make the trip from Canada, so I think there should be no real excuse.
Sucks you can't be there..
I will rally the locals if there is not enough interest here. Just figured folks would like to do some racing instead of talking about if this race or that race ever happened.

I might be interested. Non Exclusive would be good enough provided its a weekday. I'll see how the thread progresses and get more info. Only a 6hr drive for me... and I can stop by Hio's on the way and roll race him all the way there.
