2015 5.0 vs ss vs 600 hp ctsv (neither my car)
I'm posting this as a reference to the 5.0 vs ctsv stock debate. I'm starting to actually see most of the tuned/ bolt on 2015+ coyotes do indeed walk stock or lightly modded V2's. I'm just playing the devils advocate here actually. I ran a few coyote's stock vs stock and walked them fairly easy.
truth be told when my 09 Z06 was 100% bone stock on shitty tires I had my *** handed to me by a few fbo 5.0's until I learned the car and got headers exhaust and a tune. anywho here ya go

When I got my stock C6Z the very first day (last October) the very first thing I did was turn off the traction control and laid into it (on a straight away). The damn thing damn near came around me lol this is less than 4 minutes of ownership! I pulled over and handed my buddy who had given me a ride to the truck stop to pick it up from the trucker the keys (I bought it out of state and had it shipped).
He driven my modded 2011 sti sedan and I told him I will gladly take the sti home just so I can make it home alive and he drove the Z. I had previously had a heads cam built 2013 5th gen ss ls3 (actually at the time still had it) so I was used to speed but the Z was so light and my driver mod at the time was awful on top of 65% rear tread.
The next evening I went to a meet and knew I would dominate for the most part. Well on the 40 rolls against the fbo coyotes on drag radials I would literally spin my *** off half *** fish tailing etc. It took a few weeks of daily driving it and a new set of nitto's for me to learn my car. Funny thing was after that it seemed slow. I added headers, exhaust, and a halltech intake untuned. Yes at this point a 5.0 was nothing for me (obviously), prior though I lost to a few different coyotes.
Come to find out (true story) a week ago I was at autozone in the V and ran into another V driver who recognized me. He asked if I still had the red Z? I was puzzled (not really recognizing him). He told me he was the guy that beat me with the black 13 5.0 one night last year. My response was which black 5.0 that beat me? (I wasn't even being funny) He said Oh the supercharged one!!!!
Son of a bitch never told me that night he was blown! We both laughed it off but he definitely had me going for over a year.

lol I meant hp not whp.
There are 3 5.0s where I just left with Roush Chargers and some supporting mods and all are over 800hp. Granted they have all been through a few xmsns. It's not hard to believe that a KB 5.0 with supporting mods can't be >800hp. IDK how long it will last but if you have more $ than brains it can be done. That's why I asked what was done.

All you really need to do is get rid of the terrible runflat good years for a decent summer performance tire. They're not as tail happy then.

Amen, that's what I was saying in my post if he read the entire rant. I was new to the Z (at the time) and on 55% at best run flats. Once I learned the car AND had my nitto's on there pretty much no fbo coyote was an issue for me. If I'm spinning my *** of and sliding around there's no way I am going to win.

That's just it. I'm being non biased and being I'm currently a modded V owner and I took a few stock 5.0's when I was stock I'm not getting it. However a stock v vs a tuned 5.0 is telling a different story. Go on youtube and find more than 2 stock v's vs tune only 5.0 or exhaust cai 5.0 where the v wins. I can't seem to find them so help me out here?

You're not just showing videos of random people racing. For that to happen, you actually have to stop bench racing and get out there and get it done.
Edit:not saying you're bench racing.
