You can do it. ....you have plenty of power. You are loosing a pile of et on a real street tire. You still on 10 bolt?
Btw.....your ls3 has the same dimensions as a ls1.
Yea h/c ls1's are/should be around 490 these days for good ones. My ls6 was at 430 or so.....i would think ported heads and a decent cam would pick up 60whp in 2016. Then you have the ones that won't any more power than a bolt on ls6.
With out knowing your entire build I'm sure there are few things you can do to go over 500whp. Redbird was at 450 with a bolt on ls3 and was looking for 470 before he sold it and gave me blueballs.

You can do it....but you're gonna have to turn it harder or pull some gear out. And get you a good clutch.
Do you have a dyno sheet you could post? I'm kinda curious about your power curve.

LOL. It is a shitty clutch compared to the higher dollar ones. Trying to run 10s like you Hio.
Thanks! I had a shop do it for me. I believe the heads and intake are bigger than an LS1 so there is very limited room now. Spark plug 8 has to come out from under the car.
H/C LS1's are making 490? I thought they were more around 445?
It has a pretty mild cam in it now so drivability is nice and it makes decent power for what it has

Cool story bro. Why don't you go make a thread about how you feel?

It's a shame they didn't run it on out to 7k atleast. You have damn near about 500rpm of peak power there. Thats pretty good.....should for sure be shifting past 6600. A little tinkering and some this and that and it will be a different animal.
