Nice kill. Love your videos. I may have to start saving up for a BTR tune. Did you have to buy an ECU from them, or did they tune yours?

I've considered it, but just not very motivated to spend $600 for a tune, even though its approx. 50 hp increase. That's damn good hp/dollar, especially on a 4 cyl. I've seen some 2.0T's with that tune, downpipe and CAI gaining ~60whp on the dyno (about $1100 for the three mods). That would definitely surprise a lot of folks since the car weighs about 3,200 lbs. I just have a million other things I'd rather spend $1k on is all.

You're preaching to the choir here. I spent $950 on mine...Only people that could unlock ours, were FROM Korea!!! Guess you can charge whatever the hell you want when you're the only person able to do it. Think I need to charge BTR some R&D for all the questions being asked about my tune and customers that have ordered it because of my car.

Lmao it's been a Loooooong time since a 2V has called me out (pretty sure I was just a bolton LT1 back in those times). I see nothing has changed. Good kill

I think it's funny as **** when the 2v guys around here try to call my car a "riced out V6". It's sad when a 3.8 V6 is making more than their 4.6. Maybe Ford needs to take a page out of Hyundai's book. They both have the same displacements, but Hyundai's version make more. 3.8, 4.6, 5.0

Hyundai has stepped up their game. I love the coups ever since I saw burn notice, I wouldn't mind owning one but I"m in Michigan and another car I can only drive about five months if I'm lucky isn't realistic. I have to ask why you didn't get the 5.0 genesis though? was this priced right? I'm sure mpg didn't turn you away since you spent 900 or so on mods.

Locally they didn't have a 5.0. I'd have to either travel 3hrs to OKC or 6hrs to Dallas. And they are few and far in between. I actually seen one a few months ago that looked IDENTICAL to mine, but a 5.0. Thought about getting it and troll a few people But I'm sure mine now would be a close race. They're about 300lbs heavier, and have probably only 40-50hp more. Should be getting dynoed soon to see how much it's making.

For the 2.0T tune, I think $600 is actually a pretty good deal. Especially since it's a plug & play tune, simply plug it into the existing wiring within 5 min. and done. Is that how your 3.8 tune is, just plug in a chip and done?

Nice. That's a good thing. Ya never know with a car that's under warranty if/when it'll need to go to the dealer.

Even fords own v6 mustang currently makes more power than they do. Obviously it was a long time ago so you can't compare the two without considering the time periods but if I owned a 2v and wanted to call someone out I would at least have a supercharger or turbo setup of some kind.

Now I'm looking for a stock V1 and stock 6.0 GTO to race to see how it'll turn out

2012 Genesis vs 2012 5.0 the Hyundai made more lol. Only if it wasn't so damn heavy. But it's kida with 2Vs that it's their first car/first V8. They think it's king ****. Had one in a Steeda Mach call me a ricer. Then he seen me take off and asked my buddy wtf is that?? Lol

Good kill. My V6 DD beats those 2v turds as well. I giggle inside everytime I see one of them. Because I know the driver thinks its too fast for the streets.
