This could be my clutch everyone is telling me to get rid of but I'm surprised I didn't catch him quicker. I guess he got the jump on me since he honked.

Sure his is nicer, smoother, and more refined but is it worth it? I'll leave that up to whoever is spending the money. I did this whole build while working and in college so it was a budget. I'm going to figure out why it's dynoing so low and then take it to the track. Hoping for 11's. This wasn't an extravagant build by any means. Just glad to shut up some haters and naysayers. He really didn't believe I'd beat him.
Well said, some people just can't say good kill, and thanks for sharing. They think what ever they are driving is setting the world on fire. Most of the people here who call people nut huggers, are literallythe biggest one's.

I had ls7 clutch in my 408ci car. Not very good, it was honestly hard to predict what it was going to do in the 60'

I paid 31k for my base model otd. It went 12's with a mediocre 60ft @112 on a 235 all season. If I put a stiff sidewall slick or bias ply on it, it's going bottom 12's or 11's and all it has is some mufflers on it. Not even a tune, Cai, suspension, nothing..

Took my F-body full exhaust, intake manifold, lid, and 275 radials to do that. Was 350lbs lighter as well Cher..

31k isn't a bad deal at all for a GT I don't think. What's the gearing in a base GT?

Also what what the fbody optioned?

The Ls1 had a Formato tune, the mustang is stock. The only reason I changed the exhaust was for the sound. The stock exhaust is extremely quiet.

My Camaro SS sticker price was 29,947.

My GT was 31,xxx. Not very far apart from each other.

Car is running. Need to get some more miles on it. But it seems good. I was playing around on 5psi earlier. It will see 25+ pretty soon LOL. I'm not too far from NH, and we could definitely get some runs in.
