Default Srt vs 2002 camaro

So this guy has a 2006 chrysler 300 srt with the 6.1 and he says he can walk my z28. I was wondering the predicted outcome of it. I have a 2002 z28 6 speed monster stage 3 clutch with lighter flywheel, tick perf master cylinder . Texas speed longtubes and X pipe, Slp intake motor is pretty much stock except a tune. It makes about 360 rwhp on the dyno. The 300 is bone stock to the filter. I'm just curious as to what would happen.

I guess that's a possibility

OP you should beat him unless he is hiding somthing significant, or you screw up the pass.
Now post up the race when it goes down, there is a bench racing section on here FYI

I've already invited him to the strip because he wanted to race my built corvette. He never showed. Only time we've ever "raced" was he was acting big because he was pulling on my dodge pickup on the highway. So ill try to pressure him into it lol

Dig or roll? Are you on a tire?

You will slap him around pretty good on a dig or roll as long as you do not blow the tires off.

I'm on 275/40/17 street tires in the rear need to go with I little larger but it'll grab pretty good just have to feather the throttle a bit

360 RWHP??? That is strong for those mods. I made 349ish when I had about the same mods. Bust him up

Don't sleep on him or he will hurt your feelings. I ran 12.85@108.5 with a DA of +1872 bone stock on stock tires. Once I was I/E/T, I made 445hp at the wheels on 93 octane. My base line was 405. I've been beaten by much slower cars and beaten much faster cars at the strip due to mistakes on both sides...

It will bust out mid to high 12s. It's just the clutch grabs hard and if I get into the throttle heavy it'll send me spinning. I was extremely surprised at this I figured it would be running slower.

I don't have a tuned dyno sheet. It went with the car but I found the baseline.

I got gapped at the 1/8th mile by a Superbee this past Sunday. He only had a Whipple/other mods and ran 6.85@102 tho...

Both of those dyno numbers are about 40rwhp too high.

Check posted dyno sheet for baseline. The car has been a subject of hurt feelings on this site for years.

You made 405rwhp with a 6.1 car? Stock? That may be the absolute highest stock hp I've ever seen for one of those.

I saw what you posted. I understand what it represents, and you very clearly do not.

1. Generous dyno.
2. Uncorrected in favorable conditions.

Again...40rwhp too high.

Edit: A quick search revealed this:

my best run looked like this

RT .2003 best was .0702
60FT 2.0586
330FT 5.6853
1/8ET 8.5845
1/8 MPH 85.31
1/4ET 13.1964
¼ MPH 107.30
That 405rwhp "baseline" of yours was with a tune, intake, and exhaust. That is the setup that ran 12.8 @ 108 two months later. Did it really run that number, or is that what you corrected it to? THAT is a bit more realistic. Why lie?
