Wanted to get some baselines in with the cobra against my ls1 before we adjusted the timing and air pressure in the tires. Nitrous bottle wasn't in for these runs

Cobra has a long way to go. Are you going to do identical (or as close as possible) "bolt-ons" to the Cobra as the trash can, including weight reduction, decreased rotational weight, bolt-offs, etc ?

Might as well just point the bottle outlet towards the back of the car to propel it if the engine is that inadequate.

Anything over 150, I think there would be pieces of motor flying off. My buddy used a 150 shot on his 01 cobra but that was with a built bottom end. With light sausage bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, 3.27 gears) and built lower end (h/c untouched), it was a 116mph car.
