Default CTSV vs GT500

The GT500 is FBO and said to have dynoed at 867rwhp (has to be a high reading dyno based off the videos). I had a new wheels (weld S71 with MT ET2) and still trying to figure out just how much they will hold on the street.

Nice dig runs! His shifting didn't help.

Yeah he looked into a auto conversion. $18,700.00 to do it. Based off the HP numbers he told me I expected to be walked. After the first race where I spun and pulled him from behind the next race I just eased out and roll by him.

Even if he was an auto you'd still pull him. You simply have the stronger setup. Nice work

GT500s put down over 850 rwhp with just bolt ons? I think he was BSing or over stating his number quite a bit.

He had a dyno sheet but I'm sure the numbers are inflated. No way I would be able to pull on a true 867whp car that's 500lbs lighter.

Can't blame the owner but his tuner likes giving out glorified numbers no doubt.

Probably one of those shops everyone goes to because they give out the highest numbers. Unfortunately for him those numbers don't win races.

What year GT500? Even with FBO on a newer GT500...still wouldnt hit those numbers. Your car is stout like a MF! What part of the country are you in?

Yeah we have a few shops like that around here. One kids car put down 550whp at a garage and 430whp at another. I tried to explain to him why but he didn't want to listen.

I believe it's a 2015.

Thanks, I'm from North East PA. About 2 hours north of Philly.

Not sure what year it is then. I replied with photos of the car after he was t-boned but it say something about an admin needing to approve it before it will show up.
