Default 403" Trans Am Nitrous Street Pass

After going through 3 alternators before upgrading to the truck style I finally got the car to make a few passes without electrical issues.

250 shot progressed over 3 seconds

Filmed in Mexico

LOL yup thats me... Shreded the gears, torsen and Ujoint the last time out... Upgraded the rear to a 1350 pinion yoke and now have a solid 1350 Ujoint and havent had any issues...yet.... The old hollow Ujoint is what grenades and caused the carnage. But its been hooking and booking on the street. Going to the track on September 10 to finally see how it does with the new motor.

Nice! The old 10 bolt will hold up better then most think...in A4 cars anyway.

Nice launch! Was the stock rating alternator not feeding enough juice?

It seems that was the case... I took the car to that road and did a few nitrous passes and each time on the way home the alternator would die on me. After the third one failed i decided enough is enough and gave the truck alternator a shot and it hasnt died yet lol... Brand new unit off ebay.

Was also having weird electrical issues with the solenoids getting stuck open at WOT and would have to kill the ignition for the car to stop! Toyota Prius like death lol...

But once the truck alt went on there was no more issues and its been great!
