nwilson44 vs boostbandit1
Met up with a fellow member and got some runs in!!! Well... Some traction limited runs! All in all it was super fun and boostbandit's car is an immaculate 17k mile example of a Z06. Made my car look like a beater. Anyways I got some of the footage and he has the GoPro footage. I assume he will post when he edits them. He's got bolt ons and MS3 and I have small lid, small headers and 235/240 .629 .615 111 LSA. I thought my car was loud with ory and loudmouth II but his set up made mine sound like it had a stock cat back! I need that set up lol
Fan relay went out on me but I fixed yesterday. Got warm by second and third run.

BTW why is my car wagging its tail so much?
Runs were really close and all started around 30-35. I'm sure he'll post the better forage soon!

yeah man we were both pretty traction limited, and then he missed 3rd on one (it happens). Pretty good match, we got a decent run in and he nosed me out a bit (1/2 car or so). Gotta figure out why my car was squirming from lane to lane though. Never did that before my tubular torque arm and crossmember relocation

He took one of the three! One chalked up to miss shift and one went to the camaro.

He he had a better all around set up, with the Z06 MAF, proper 1-7/8 headers, CF intake and 17k and I'm going to assume he had good fan relays lol! His car was perfect like not a scratch on it.
Something tells me that if we did a higher roll he'd likely pull away more

MS3 is like 603/609, 237/242, 112 lsa. You did good considering the weight difference and his mods. He's not only lighter but from the sounds of it likely making a little more power than you

thanks man I tried! Never really knew how much lighter a C5Z was. Sounded a lot more aggressive than mine. Should've went bigger lol

Well The only thing stock on my rear suspension is the sway bar. I also have some worn out Monroe shocks that don't match well with my front Koni's. I'll be ordering my rear koni's soon! It does alot better after a UMI torque arm and relocation kit! hooks harder. That was one of the few times it kicked out on me though.

Can't take anything away from him. The car is beautiful, Fast, and would likely beat me if we both had traction lol! All in all my car held its own but more is to come!
