No vid...ran into a Fox last night in Mexico that my brother raced on low boost this last spring in his Scat Pack. They were a damn close race. Anyway he revved at me, so I pursued. Got up next to him on a 10 roll and flagged him to go. He gets a big jump, I nail it, get up on the tires well into second, stop his pull and come around hard by 80...he lets out.

RD.2....We run that **** back. 25 roll, I am about 4k rpm in first , 3 honks I nail it, back on the tires hard again through bottom- mid second gear(65mph), and pull about 4 cars to 100.

I pulled into a parking lot to see if he wanted to discuss things, but he kept going. Fox has a 331ci stroker with a V3 Vortech. Made 420-430whp on low boost. He was suppose to turn it up, but not sure if he was on this run.

Thanks...I gapped him pretty hard. When my bro raced him in the Scat, the guy stopped and talked. Maybe he was in route to a Halloween party or something.

How did your brother's experience go with this Fox in his Scatpack?

I think he said they were pretty even with the Fox on low boost.

The night I raced the guy he said it was on 7psi and had it on the dyno earlier in the day. Said it made 420something. I was told he just got it running. We ran 3 times. he won one, I won one and we tied once. His car was faster down low and we were pretty even up top. Best run was the 30 roll. 30-110. He pull out down low and I came back and sat next to him right at 100.

~side note, they thought my Scat Pack was supercharged. When I told them it had a CAI, deleted cats and different rear tires, they gave me a funny look lol.

Good kills. That fox is terrible. With a 302 and that much boost I was trapping 122. If he has a good block he needs to wack up.
