However, looks like OP edged the 6G out on the second run again.
6gen covered more ground from the go.....then went wide and was pulling. By going wide he covered more distance and never lost any position to the 5br0. The 6gen was just starting to stretch it's legs.

I still haven't run one, but I am convinced I need more mods. One thing I know I can do that a sis gen will have troubles with, and that is maximum sensible weight reduction. Pull the carpet and get the 50lbs of noise pads and putty out. No big
mods. Just sensible max. Like carbon fiber trunk lid. Cf hood. Cf driveshaft, tubular k and control arms. Get it down to 3200.

Given the current fast lists for them I think you'll be ok. I'm sure once the aftermarket catches up there will be plenty doing 10's on the corn

Looked like you may have got a bit of a hit and he spun pretty good when he hit 2nd. That can make the difference on a short run between 2 cars. I mean **** he was probably only about 1/2 way through 3rd on the first run when yall shut down.. ...if that

Maybe Hio will post screen shots of these races too so he can convince himself that the 6th gen won.

Still not sure if you are being a bit sarcastic or joking at times on this issue. Your current setup would beat a stock 6g no problem IMO. You should be in the neighborhood of at least low 11s with a good track and DA. And appropriate 60ft obviously. I can't touch that and I'm close to stock.

As I've said from the beginning a car like mine with just e85 tune is gonna be tough for a lot of FBO bros if they are not totally sorted with the right build etc

But you seem to know what's up with the 5.0

Hmm. Guess we will see. 10s don't seem that hard for me at this point. It may even be possible on the stock converter in a near full weight FBO e85 car. I'd have to go at least 11.4 with e probably even 11.3. And I've got another ~40 hp on the table with intake and headers. CF driveshaft may help too

Don't worry I'll find out for us. I'm thinking next year I'll just go the cheapest most effective route to get my 11.5 or better pass. E85 and cat delete. Maybe a ported stock intake as well. Pretty cheap for that lots of gains.

I'm still having a lot of fun as is with the car. Probably painfully slow to you but I think it's pretty quick for a near stocker. And I'm still surprised I don't miss the manual one bit.

I think they are great performers, but I didn't like the Fif Gen styling; and I don't care for the 6G styling.

Be cool to see.

The automagic really is the way to go when you want to go fast and consistent.

not sarcastic one bit. i love all older gm big block engines. cadillac is my fav brand. the mustang/camaro is a platform. neither are worth a **** to me as far as comfort and quality. they do what they are designed to do.

i chose the mustang.

I may if it gets outta hand. I proved the 6gen won like that vs poppa. At worst this one would be a tie on the 2nd run. From the way it looks by ground coveredthe 6gen got him by a half fender. Still close.....no reason to be hurt about it.

If you cant beat a stock 6G with all the mods done to your car, drive that thing off a cliff.
