Kinda disappointed with the ZL1.

GM had a couple of years to bench mark the Fatcat and either didn't want to be the king of pony cars or failed in their attempt.

Both are great cars and much faster than anything Ford has

I agree, Ford has nothing to compete with the Fatcat or the Sis gen ZL1 currently.

If a new GT500 comes out and loses to these cars, it'll be a fail too. Maybe more so than the ZL1 in the vid....

Once again, you are being one dimensional. The auto hellcat might have an edge over the new manual ZL1, but the auto ZL1 will put a stop to that. And that is only on a straight line. The new ZL1 is the complete package. Its handling is second to none.

New King is the new ZL1, fo sho.

Eh... not so fast hammer. Ford's 13-14 gt100s are pretty good competition. I believe the auto helcat go be slightly faster than the 13-14 100's, but the manual helcats and manual 100's are a driver race.

Right now, chevy, dodge and ford all have moster straightline cars. Only chevy has the ultimate package.

One thing that Im skeptical about, is Ol' Hen saying how neither car had traction issues. Im in the same state, same temperatures and sweat bullets everytime I do a "hit" on the 100 (with stock tires), even in 3rd it is real sketchy....

The corvette is a different car, it only competed with itself. It is the blue colar supercar and did everything extremely well.

Talking about in a straight line, I think that that Hellcat and 13/14 shelby competed with it, and now also the new ZL1 as well.

I would buy the new ZL1 over any of the new sports car line ups, but the last minute production LT4 has been disappointing to me. GM should have said **** the MPG lets stick with the motor we spent 5 years developing for the new Z06 and subsequent ZL1. BUT NO, lets just throw a shitty blower on a ls3 that will make sense.

I am tired of getting confused if you are replying or if its Islander. Someone has to sell their GT100. This SRK section has place for only 1

Ok but it's been a decade and Ford still hasn't beat it

Looks like Zyborg has a pretty good chance against the new ZL1, both being bone stock.

That is, IF Zyborg learns how to handle all his new found powa and can shift decent.....I know that was a few "IFs".

Faster stock in a straight line doesn't concern me. I like the looks and styling of the ZL1 better and if I had one it wouldn't be stock anyway. On top of that I love cars that can handle so give me one with a manual so I can hit the twisties.
