The gt was horrible for many years.

Actually the nurburgring vid confirmed how much better the zl1 handled. Hiw else could a car down 80hp and weighing 300-400lb more be that close. It sure wasn't goin faster doen the straights. So it was goin faster in the turns

A terminator is a newer car with a power adder that cost much more. Not really a fair comparison. A Cobra from the same time period would get waxed.
4v Mach 1 was definitely on par with a 2.73 a4 fbomb. Likely quicker.

Lol....take the quickest n/a mustang and compare it to the slowest combo fcar that was out of production usually gets you close. But not 100%

2003 model year car that was released in 2002. Let's be honest, the 2v was poop but it sold well.

Heck I remember a lot of 2002 fbodies leftover in 2003 when I was younger.

Speaking of which, think the local dealer finally unloaded the end of their 2015 model 5Gs here in early 2017.

Not FBO, but not LBO either. Technically speaking the car is a 5 mod. CAI/Tune/LT Header/Midpipe/Catback, it usually just gets combined as full exhaust. The headers are going to be the biggest power gain, so the rest of the bolt ons aren't going to do much.

I could change a motor in the time it takes him to shift that hellcat.

I forgot that section of the crew handbook. Of course a 700HP manual transmission car is easy to drive.

It's almost concerning how upset you get about my 135k milk stock bottom end/tranny car with no weight reduction, and how your no-knowledge bought LS1 with more mods, and a bigger motor, is afraid of the quarter mile strip

Your fox has yet to crack 11s, an 03 termi motor notch, and can't run 11s. Yeah, tell me how you pay equal attention to detail with both of your cars

I've never ran the car. So how do we know it can't crack 11s?

But i do know this.....a 12sec 5br0 new or old won't walk it.

Mio thinks 13.0 at 111mph is just as fast as 12.3@118mph.

Put both cars on a tire and watch the gap increase another 0.5s or so. Fackin close bruh.

Ford did get waxed from 93 til 2010. Gm stopped production in 02 - 2010 and Ford took the torch and carried it until 2016 (6g). Also the 03/04 Cobra did indeed outperform the fbod and gto of that era as well.

Literally, there are no tricks up this 80s tech 302's sleeve, yet it gets called "fully built" because a lot of guys have been around idiots with straightpipes, big *** slicks, and a 5" tach and shift light who think they are fast, but run 14.Xs.

I mean this tranny was rated for 260tq, stock. Haven't done a single upgrade to it

Doug, you're mad at the wrong person. Your notch has run 12.x as its best 1/4 time. Sorry I'm not sorry
