2000 Cobra R. 12.9@111 with an NA modular. Faster than any stock 4th gen Fbody. They were rare as ****, I will give you that, but it was still a production mustang that could beat the best gm had. Ford didn't compete back then because they didn't need to, they were killing GM in sales. That 5.4l cranked out an official 385/385, but put down 362/372, making the real number about 415HP, right on par with an LS6

AFAIK, the record is that 12.89 up there and I know there wasn't a factory 4th gen that was trapping 111mph.

Cobro r was weak for what all went into it and the price. In all honesty it would struggle with old school lt4 cars.
It's a shame they didn't test a ls1 1le car against it. That woulda been a good test!

ford decided to make the engine strong enough to take 8200 rpm 5.2 liter second eorder vibrations.
the problem is, an engine experiencing major 2nd oder vibrations cant live forever if driven hard forever, on the whole. bad design.

So... are you saying that Ford doesn't have a recall? Now being sued for drivetrain cooling issues?... I'm an idiot and wrong for mentioning the recall?... Really?
i don't remember saying "doesnt know his *** from a hole in the ground or something along those lines." I'm not saying I didn't, just old and don't remember.

It's pretty easy to figure out. The faster you go the more power you make the more cooling compacity you need. It's simple when you have a on trick wonder like a gt100. Lap after lap is far tougher to keep things cool than 1 trip down a dragstrip and pop your hood and leave it set for a hour to cool down.
You guys are really showing your lack of knowledge here. It's kinda funny.

I know they weren't included but that doesn't mean that they aren't being sued over it... If I knew about this, what does that say about the GT350 drivers?...
