I have seen 11.1 out of a racestar only 11. The 13/14 is a solid low 11 high 10 car on a tire. The m7 c7z is a driver's race from a roll and dig since both trap in the 125-128 range. They also bolton just as well if not better then the c7z both have been 9.7x. The GT500 has been 145.5 however.

You have yet to make it out of the 11s without timing errors. Poor motor swaped turd.

That 9.7x bolt on c7z that know of is the one I saw go 11.0 bone stock on stock rubber. He also went 10.8x with a cold air intake and no tune on stock rubber. Things GT500's haven't done.

Ok so Chevys latest and greatest Corvette is still slower then a 2013 mustang giving up 350lbs Bolton for Bolton 145+ Things a C7z has not done with bolton mods

9.70s with bolt ons only, with a blower 2/3rds the size of the GT500 blower.

But I do agree with you, the C7Z should be faster then it is, stock or modded...The blower size and lack of IAT control just kills it. Remember also the C7Z is 200lbs heavier then a ZR1 and basically the same HP so....even though its the "latest and greatest", its hard to be faster with more weight, same power and road race aeros.

The C7z does ok just goes to show how well GT500s run with small blowers. Giving zr1s and C7zs a run for their money with stock long blocks. Yea smaller blower but with more compression and a direct injected 376

A stock c6z is faster than a 2013 gt100. And a c7z is obviously faster than the c6z. Get your facts straight, squirt.

For sure...I agree. I've always been impressed with 13'+ GT500s... However I've never personally seen a stock one run 10s on tires. Pulley/tune cars yes, but bone stock, not yet. I've seen stock GT500s go 11.3s-11.4s tho..

Mustangs always perform well on the strip. I grew up with fox bodies, so I know how to do more with less, later model Mustangs are efficient on the strip for sure, especially for their weight.

The 3.31 gearing is the 13/14s downfall. With 4.10s and a decent tire they are solid 10sec cars at stock power. The 3.73 11s have been 11.1x @123.xx on racestars only with a 100whp less.

I can agree with that as being close.

Friend of mine had a 2014 GT 500, it went 11.3-11.4's on a small drag radial (they looked like skinny jeans for a car).

He wanted me to drive it for him because I'm smaller than him (he's a stocky guy) and he said that I probably drove better than him. I wouldn't touch the car though because it was brand new and if by chance I wrecked it, I couldn't afford to fix it
